Fight to... "finish" ....and you will win..

Never underestimate the hands of your opponent...

A defensive fighter will eventually get beaten...

An offensive fighter will tire quickly...

So Optimize on both Offense AND Defense...
to ensure that the balance of your approach,
attack and stamina will
Co-align and co-exist together...

(Almost anyone can "walk" a mile...and never tire...

Very few can sprint a mile...and retain mental and physical stamina...

So pace your self to finish the mile...to over come those who are lagging behind..and allow those who want to prove they are faster to move forward...

Simply so you can cruise right by them as they are sitting on the side of the road winded by there own arrogance...)

The life changing punch...

"Many never notice the dimple I have on my right cheekbone"

..Every time I look in the mirror it reminds me of a HARD punch I took 19 years ago that cracked my cheekbone and opened my eyes...

(isn't it amazing at what God does to get your attention)

Even though I feel like a failure at times...

I know that where I am now, began many years ago with that dimple....that gets deeper every year I grow older....

Peddle faster?

There's only so fast you can peddle down hill to try and make it up the other side...
(meaning: it's gonna take more than just forward momentum to get you through..

there will be a time and place where your personal mental, physical and spiritual "stamina" will determine your success in getting you to the top...)

Been There...Done That

I've done a lot in my life..

been a lot of places..

seen a lot of things, good AND bad..

I've watched someone die...I've witnessed a life just beginning..

Many judge me wrongly for the pages of experiences I've been blessed to encounter,

Some even call me a been there, done that..

I've tried to live my life to the fullest...

I've fought in the snow,
I've cried in the rain,
I've nearly drowned in the ocean,
I've flew above the clouds and walked across the bottom of the sea..

But if there's one thing I've learned above all...through it all....

Is that the pain of failure is far less than the pain of regret....

so when you fall...

get up and TRY again!

Instead of one day...

Wishing you had...

People "do" change...many people like myself have made so many bad choices I their lives..

I have fallen many times and will probably fall again and again..

Does this make me less a human...or less a Christian? No...

Along with myself there are many people in my life that I love and care about that have fallen as well. Bad choices were made, steps in the wrong direction we taken.

But when it all comes down to it...before you start to point your finger...shut your mouth..and examine your OWN life..

Are YOU qualified to cast the first stone? Are you living or HAVE lived your life surrounded by perfection?

I doubt it....

A navy seal can tread water in open sea for days...

It's a technique that has been perfected over the years...

I have witnessed it myself and stood in amazement at the stamina and fortitude of the human desire to succeed...

I was told by my many seal friends..
That in the times of adversity, when the presence of DEATH is imminent...when you have to tread or die...

At the very moment your head goes under for the first time..

There will swell within you a strength and power that no man can understand nor begin to explain..

He says: "you will be without food and water for days..." Nothing left in your system to feed your muscles...

But yet you will fight...you will even tread the waters in your deepest sleep..."

He said: "a human can go nearly 28 days without food and survive, but even the STRONGEST man can not survive without water for more than 3 days.."

There is water all around you..but you can drink.."

If you drink this water..

The microbes and deadly bacteria from all the sea life waste will destroy you from the inside out...within hours you will become disoriented..as if you are drunk..some become violent and will kill anyone treading close by....

your internal organs begin to shut down..your brain begins to swell..the pain is excruciating... Your eardrums bust from the pressure and blood pours from your mouth and ears..

At this time everyone around him is swimming as fast as they can away from him simply because of the blood in the water...

But they can not escape him! Why? He now has a type of super human strength...

The bacteria releases all of the bodies stored adrenaline in a 10 min bust of strength that no one can explain..

But how do they survive 4 and 5 days atread in the waters...?

This I amazing...your body filters a limited quantity of this deadly fluid through your skin as you are submerged within the waters...

the draw back is believe it or not you will slowly become heavier and heavier even with the weight loss...from lack of food..

This is where your will to survive becomes the greatest ally you will ever know..

Why am I telling you all of this...?

I'm sure you already know...

Life has a way of putting us in a tread-wake position...in the midst of the waters of our battle filled lives....

we see things around us that we believe in our hearts that will make us feel better...

but in all actuality will literally destroy us....

It can destroy our reputations..

our health..

the respect others have for us...

If we drink of this deadly water...

where will our future end up...?

Will our mate one day judge us for our past addition to the deadly fluid...?

But on the other hand if we refrain..

and fight...tread..and believe...

Once the battle is over we will know ...

Deep in our souls...

That we are now

a survivor...

Standing alone in the presence of adversity, makes a soul weary...

But when the battle end is in sight..all the weight upon you slowly begins to lift...

And at that point no matter the fatigue that once weighed heavy on your heart..

There will bloom a NEW hope within...

That even the strongest enemy begins to fear....
