As of yesterday.... 48 years I have been blessed to experience on this big beautiful earth... I haven't had an easy life...
It's actually been a constant battlefield for me... I have traveled far in my life....

I've seen things in my life that would give the ordinary man nightmares for the rest of his days...
I've been touched by an angel and chased by demons...
I've faced death more times in my life than most would in 20 lifetimes...
All starting with almost losing my life to illnesses as an infant... But the one thing in my life....
That dwarfs it all...
The one thing the erases all my mistakes...
and brings my life into perspective as an example of God's extreme perfection.... Is when my daughter's arms are wrapped tightly around my neck knowing she is safe from what just filled her heart with fear...
Being a father.... is unlike anything I have ever dreamed... Every time I look into my daughter's big black eyes...
I only see the eternal future...
Because every stupid thing I've ever done in my life just disappears... Every time she calls me Pappa... |
